Enhancing your Understanding of the Role of a Curling Skip - $100 + HST members; $120 + HST non-members
September 9th - October 7th, 2026
6:30 - 8:00 pm - Women Only
8:15 - 9:45 pm - Open Registration
The ACC is proud to offer a new clinic this year for our members. This 5 week clinic covers all aspects of being a skip, as well as team dynamics.
This clinic offers valuable information and insight into curling strategy including how to approach the game in each end, team dynamics, and then putting it all together by reviewing specific game scenarios.
It is a great clinic not only for skips or those interested in skipping, but all positions. As a team, it is very valuable to understand game strategy and how your skip is calling a game. The more knowledge you have in any position you play, the better the game will be!
The clinic will be delivered by Doug Kreviazuk. Doug is a NCCP Certified Level 3 National Coach. He has experience coaching high performance teams from 2009 – 2021. Doug currently provides private curling instruction both on and off the ice to a range of individuals and teams, primarily at the Ottawa Hunt Club. He is the Developer and Principal for Canada’s first “Skipping for Women” program which was successfully implemented at the Ottawa Hunt Club.
